Bollywood veterans, director Shyam Benegal and actress Madhuri Dixit will receive this year’s Raj Kapoor awards constituted by the Maharashtra government, Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan announced here.

Channel 9 will air popular serial ‘Monsoon Rain’ tonight. Scripted by Prashun Rahman, the serial was jointly directed by Chayanika Chowdhury and Habib Masud. 

The cast of the serial included popular actors Mahfuz Ahmed, Lutfar Rahman George, Bonya Mirza, Shahed Sharif Khan, Nafiza, Hillol, Shyamal, Syed Babu, Bhabna, Rakhi, Maznun Mizan, Konok, Shamim Hossain and Uttam Bishta from Nepal. 

The serial will feature the friendship, love, understanding, dream, belief, emotions and outlook of the young generation.  

In this serial, it will be seen how mistrust, selfishness and inter conflict grow among a group of friends when they went for a tour in Nepal.
