Anne Hathaway's ex-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri is set to be released from
federal prison tomorrow.
The Italian conman has spent four years behind bars after pleading guilty to
14 counts of money laundering, wire fraud and conspiracy back in October
2008.
The New York Post reports that when the former real estate developer is
released, he will be handed over to officials who will then have him deported
to his native country.
Raffaello's rep says that his client has been "focused solely on his education,
charitable endeavors and physical transformation" while serving his sentence.
Anne has moved on with her life and is engaged to fiancé Adam Schulman and
stars in new movie The Dark Knight Rises as Catwoman.
She had dated Raffaello for four years before splitting from him in June 2008
just before he was indicted.
"The worst thing that happens to you can be the best thing for you, if you
don't let it get the best of you," Anne said at the time quoting Will Rogers.
