Rihanna & Chris Brown-Inspired "Black and Bleu" Sandwich Sparks Uproar

This will certainly go down in the annals of sandwich-naming at the very least as poor taste.
A Watkinsville, Ga., steakhouse is feeling the heat after a Twitter promotion jokingly suggested its "black and bleu" ribeye sandwich took its inspiration from Chris Brown's beatdown of Rihanna three years ago.
Comparing Ri-Ri's battered face to chopped meat? Nice.
The brouhaha got started after the owners of Chops & Hops put up a notice last week on the eatery's Facebook and Twitter page announcing a newly created sandwich that was available for one day only—a heavy dose of ribeye topped with blue cheese, sliced tomato, "silver Lamborghini" onions and shredded romaine.
"@chrisbrown, @rihanna and us teamed up for a award winning celebrity sandwich," read the posting. "Chris Brown won't beat you up for eating this unless your name starts with a R and ends with A."
That didn't go over so hot with some customers irate at the thought the chef was making light of domestic violence, considering Rihanna was assaulted in a Lamborghini while others praised the eatery for hatching a good PR stunt.
But if you thought owner Richard Miley is apologizing, think again.
"I was not trying to make a joke of domestic violence, just bringing light to the situation through food," he told ABCNews.com, comparing the stunt to something late-night comics do all the time. "I do not regret doing it. I don't regret anything.
Acknowledging the tweet might be a little on the inappropriate side, to say the least. However, the restaurant set the record straight on Saturday with a follow-up Facebook post saying it takes the issue of domestic violence seriously.
"The owners of C&H would like to make sure everyone knows that we and our staff DO NOT SUPPORT DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. Many of us have been affected by domestic violence in some manner and realize that this is no joke," read the message.
It went on to state that Chops & Hops plans to donate all proceeds from the sale of the burger to Project Safe Team 6, a charity that aims to stomp out domestic violence.
Reps for Rihanna and Brown were unavailable for comment.
