'Snow White''s Kristen Stewart says interviews are (gasp!) fun

Kristen Stewart talks to reporters at a Los Angeles screening of "Snow White and the Huntsman."

Kristen Stewart, like many celebrities, isn't particularly fond of doing interviews. But the 22-year-old is so press-averse that her discomfort during talk shows has often been physically noticeable: She stutters, taps her foot ferociously or avoids eye contact.

Now that it's been four years since the "Twilight" franchise launched the actress into the spotlight, however, Stewart says she's finally feeling more confidence doing press. In fact, she says interviews can even be -- gasp! -- "fun."

ACLU lawsuit to challenge Ill. gay marriage ban

CHICAGO (AP) — More than two dozen gay and lesbian couples in Illinois plan to file lawsuits Wednesday arguing that it's unconstitutional for the state to deny them the right to marry, a move advocates hope will lead to legalized same-sex marriage in Illinois.

The two lawsuits — backed by the American Civil Liberties Union of Illinois and the New York-based gay advocacy group Lambda Legal — include couples from the Chicago area, Bloomington and Marion. Both challenge a state law that defines marriage as between a man and woman, arguing that the Illinois Constitution guarantees the right for same-sex couples to marry under due process and equality clauses.

Shares fell 7.5% to $29.53 in recent trading, despite a broader market rally. The stock traded as low as $29.35, down nearly 23% from its IPO price of $38 on May 18. Facebook shares have slid over the past couple weeks following a messy IPO process and because of concerns about the company's growth potential.

James Bond doesn't handle a word-association test the way the rest of us might. His response to the word "murder" is "employment," and his reaction the word "Skyfall" (the name of the upcoming 007 film and presumably the name of his latest mission) is to tersely say "done" and walk out of the interview.

London: A hacker was sentenced to one year in prison after he admitted to hacking singer-actress Selena Gomez`s Facebook account.

Last year, hacker Gareth Crosskey infiltrated Gomez`s Facebook page and posted derogatory remark about her boyfriend Justin Bieber.

Crosskey also said he had emails which contains the private conversation of the couple. Further he posted a video on YouTube showing how he had hacked the page, boasted about it to fellow hackers online and contacted magazines offering to send them information about Gomez, reported the Sun Online.

 Lawmakers in Argentina have approved a gender identity law that allows individuals to be recognized in official documents by the gender they choose.

Argentinians have the right to be treated in accordance with their own gender identity, and the government is required to recognize it as well, the law states.

"This protest is not against Lady Gaga as a person but on her music and on how she declares distorted views about the Lord Jesus Christ," said Reuben Abante, bishop of Lighthouse Bible Baptist Church and secretary-general of Biblemode Youth, which is leading the protests.

‘Paradise: Love’, a film showing a middle-aged white woman travelling to Africa for sex with male gigolos, has divided critics at the Cannes Film Festival.

According to the Daily Mail, the film, the first of a trilogy, explores sex tourism among rich, European women. It stars Magarethe Tiesel as a 50-year-old Austrian woman searching for love. Tiesel, previously a stage actress, appears nude throughout the film and engages in several graphic scenes with Kenyan beach boys in her first major film role.

Tiesel told journalists that she didn’t judge the character she played, explaining that the film studied female loneliness and the way that “people who are exploited at home travel abroad and become exploiters in turn”.

Special makeup effects wizard Rick Baker surprised Hero Complex Film Festival attendees Saturday afternoon, dropping by to answer questions about his prolific career, and carrying an alien head in a garbage bag.

Baker, 61, is a seven-time Oscar winner whose credits include “Planet of the Apes,” “Hellboy,” “Ed Wood,” Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” music video and dozens more.

The Q&A — at L.A. Live in downtown Los Angeles — followed a screening of a featurette about Baker’s work for “Men in Black III,” which hits theaters next weekend. The audience oohed appreciatively as Baker pulled an alien mask from the bag he was toting — one of 127 alien creations for “Men in Black III,” he said.
