Another Duchess Kate sighting, another fabulous gown

Except for the emerald-green color, Duchess Kate looked like a Greek goddess in the gown she chose this evening for a concert at Royal Albert Hall in London to celebrate the British Olympic team
Designer Jenny Packham quickly claimed credit, sending out emails explaining that the dress has a lace bodice and back embellished with Swarovski crystals, and a softly pleated skirt with a ribbon at the waist adorned with a crystal and flower.

The former Kate Middleton, now Catherine Duchess of Cambridge, carried a matching bespoke clutch bag and wore the same silvery, strappy high-heeled sandals by Jimmy Choo that she's worn several times recently.
Her hair was in an updo reminiscent of Greek goddesses depicted in ancient art and pottery, or the women in white Greek gowns who helped light the Olympic torch in Greece on Thursday in the countdown to the London Olympics.
The dress drew gasps of delight from the bloggers who follow Kate's fashion. "Many of us have been hoping to see Kate wear a brighter color," said hrhduchesskate.blogspot.com. "The Packham dress is made for royalty."
It was still light enough to see it clearly when she and husband Prince William, who are Olympic ambassadors, arrived at the hall for what was billed as "Our Greatest Team Rises - British Olympic Association Olympic Concert."
