Lindsay Lohan crash: No signs of intoxication, police say

Actress Lindsay Lohan leaves the Airport Branch Courthouse in Los Angeles after a progress report hearing in March.
Santa Monica police said there was no immediate evidence of wrongdoing in an accident that sent actress Lindsay Lohan to the hospital.
Officials said Lohan's Porsche collided with a big rig Friday morning on Pacific Coast Highway. They said she was behind the wheel but showed no signs of intoxication and was not cited before going to the hospital.
Her condition was not immediately known, but her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The crash occurred during an upswing in Lohan's fortunes after several years of incidents that had her in court numerous times. Lohan has said she's learned her lessons from the problems.
She was on probation for a 2007 conviction for driving under the influence. Since then she has also been convicted of shoplifting and was on probation for that offense as well.
Lohan was sent to jail several times for violating the terms of her probation. But she hewed to a strict regimen of community service at the county morgue and counseling. In March, a judge ended her probation in the DUI case and reduced the shoplifting probation to unsupervised status.
